Tracey King

An aspiring Corporate Communications professional with an emphasis on media relations, web writing and post production including responsibilities such as: press releases, staff bios, web promo videos and company newsletters for the private sector or U.S. Government.

Tracey possesses a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing from Norfolk State University and a Master of Art degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University; as well as 10 years of media and marketing experience with employers such as The Ricki Lake Show, U.S. Postal Service, WUSA 9 News and Reuter's Television. Tracey's goal is to apply past and present skills that will take her career to the next level.

Tracey enjoys working independently as well as part of a team. Documentary film is her 1st love by gathering positive, impactful human-interest stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things and sharing this information via written or multimedia presentation platforms. She can edit video, particularly basketball highlights all day and all night, even miss meals and sleep due to the excitement of reviewing raw footage to produce "emotionally-engaging" products. ESPN's E:60 and 30 for 30 (with a basketball concentration) is a perfect combination of her passion and career goals. Tracey absolutely loves Lifetime Television Channel; Oprah's Masterclass, Life Class, and Iyanla Fix my Life; TV One's Unsung and Life After. She is curious about the journeys of others and how they got to where they are today.

Tracey would like to visit and perhaps work temporarily in the UK at some point in my lifetime.
