I am a Social Worker of 30 years experience working with families in London in addition to being a Doctor of Philosophy having studied the subject of our relationship with domestic dogs. I believe that given my experience in these two fields I am uniquely placed to comment on the social phenomena of status dogs and breed discrimination.

The American Psychological Association has published my research findings and I recently presented my work and my concerns regarding the commodification of dogs at the conference for canine scientific research at Lincoln University, United Kingdom.
