I am a teacher and mother currently living in British Columbia, Canada. I completed my BEd in England before returning to Canada where I have been teaching for seven years at the intermediate level. Grade six is one of my favourite grades to teach but I am hoping to move to primary in the next few years to switch it up a little!
I chose the Special Education program because I felt this was one area in my practice that was limited in strategies, resources, and knowledge. This is my final course to complete and I am looking forward to building my strategy toolkit and especially in the subject of maths.
My interests range from travel to reading with my family. My daughter who I have taught for the last two years is now off to high school in September and my son will be in my class next year.
