Dr. Traci Davis

Hello My Name is Traci Davis. I am enthusiastic about working with you this semester. Most of you are attending Sinclair preparing for a career path you hope will bring fulfillment and opportunity to your life and the lives of your family.

Some of you are here because you have a natural love for knowledge or are curious about a range of topics and disciplines. My goal is to help you develop your written communication in a way that is beneficial regardless of your motivations for taking the course.

After obtaining my Bachelors in Business Administration from Ohio University, I worked for several years as a manager for National City Bank in Columbus, Ohio. Later I earned my Masters in English Education from the University of Dayton, and began working as a high school English teacher. I eventually earned my Phd in Educational Leadership- Curriculum and Instruction from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I currently work for Dayton Public Schools as a Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Specialist; In addition I am an educational consultant and an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College. My most important role is as a mother to a 12 year old son.

While my schedule is lively, I find my time working with Sinclair students particularly enyoyable. Please review your syllabus thoroughly. You are enrolled in an accelerated 8 week course which can be quite challenging. It is extremely important you complete assignments in a timely manner to stay on track. Please dont hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions or need assistance. In addition to email communication, we can schedule individual conferences if necessary.
