Tracy Beasley

A teacher and educational administrator with over 16 years of experience, Tracy Beasley is currently owner of Petra Educational Services & Development Group in Houston. Employing teachers, counselors, and other specialists, Petra Educational Services provides programs that help meet the educational needs of students in 20 school districts as well as professional development for educators. Since 2004, Tracy Beasley has led this educational consulting firm, assisting schools in six states with meeting curriculum needs and testing objectives. Tracy Beasley is also the owner of LMC Medical Transportation, a company that helps manage and lower the costs of non-emergency medical transportation of various government agencies, including schools. Tracy Beasley launched his successful company, located in 2005, he currently services Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth and San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to his current professional positions, Beasley served as an educational administrator in the Houston area. As Principal of the Harris County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program from 2004 to 2005, Tracy Beasley led more than 60 teachers and 600 students to achieve high performance ratings. From 2001 to 2004, he held a number of positions with the Harris County Department of Education, including as Instructional Team Leader, Program Manager of the Charter School Initiative, and Assistant Principal. Tracy Beasley's last position with the Harris County Department of Education was as Administrator of the Zenith Program, an initiative to improve student performance through a comprehensive evaluation of curricula, programs, and staff. Implementing new strategies with a $1.2 million budget, Tracy Beasley's Zenith Program earned recognition from the Commissioner of Education for the State of Texas.

Tracy Beasley holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Master of Education in Educational Administration, From Prairie View A & M University and a Master of Education in Special Education Administration from the University of St. Thomas (Houston). Prior to obtaining his degrees, Tracy Beasley served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years and also enjoyed success as a professional boxer, earning several National Golden Gloves titles as an amateur and the IBA Light Heavyweight Champion in his professional career.
