Thousands of people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds are proud to call Utah home, and today, cultural and ethnic diversity are central characteristics of the Utah experience. In an effort to celebrate this aspect of the community and build on the legacy of the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, the International Marketplace will provide a new forum for the positive expression of Utah's cultural diversity.

The primary purpose of the International Marketplace is to provide facilities and services that compliment and support the general theme and uses of the Cultural Center.
