Tracy Marlo-Daugherty, AFP

Tracy Marlo-Daugherty is a native Midwesterner who received her education in Urban Planning and Public Administration from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. An esteemed instructor, Professor Riad Mahayni, encouraged Tracy to use her gift with creative problem resolution to help under-served people.

Tracy began her career helping communities and developing philanthropic projects in over 150 cities in the Midwest. She has worked in areas of market economics, community development, and destination tourism. Priority projects have included infrastructure planning and installation, nonprofit leadership development, and historic preservation.

Tracy is a faculty member with the University of Missouri Extension and serves as Regional Community Development Specialist for Extension and Outreach in portions of Northwest and Northeast Missouri. Focus areas include organization development, sustainable communities, data analysis, and leadership capacity building.

Tracy is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Community Development Society, National Association of Community Extension Professionals, Missouri Economic Development Council, and supporter of grassroots lobby for the American Heart Association and veterans advocacy groups.
