Tracy Munson is an award-winning Canadian landscape and wildlife photographer, with professional accreditations in Canine Portraiture and Scenic/Pictorial photography. She loves to escape to the Canadian wilderness, whenever she can get some time away from her rewarding but stressful job caring for pets and wildlife in one of the country's largest and most progressive Animal Shelters.

Although Tracy has enjoyed some pretty incredible international travel experiences, she now focuses her attention almost exclusively to traveling Canada in a tiny car, with a large man, a tent, and 2 chihuahuas. It turns out, there is just SO MUCH Canada to explore, and so (relatively) few photographers exploring it.

Her work has been published in books, calendars, and magazines and has been displayed in galleries, including the prestigious McMichael Canadian Art Collection. She was the winner of the Tibor Horvath Award of Excellence in the Professional Photographer's of Canada, Ontario Branch Image Competition in 2016 and was awarded one Accepted, one Merit, one Excellence, a Judge's Choice, and a Best In Class in the Pictorial/Floral category in the 2017 National Image Competition. She also writes photography articles for websites and blogs, including the popular Improve Photography website.
