My name is Trevor Hay. I am seeking employment opportunities in or around Corona/Newport Beach/Costa Mesa CA.
I'm a Business major with minors in Culinary, Education. Here is my work experience:
Replenishment Team Member: As a Michael's employee I was highly valued for my speed and efficiency. I worked overnight, early mornings, and day shifts.
Sales/Customer Service Rep: Amazon.com vendor, sold computers, peripherals, electronics. Processed/fulfilled incoming orders by contacting vendors to ensure stock for our customers. Took phone orders, customer service issues/calls relating to my sales/other's. Returns were also performed.
Butcher/Clerk: 100% on all secret shoppers. Opened/set up meat/seafood case following company display guidelines as well as tracking guidelines. I also prepped, cut meat/roasts, tied roasts, deboned/filleted fish, etc. Did distress for expired product, ordered replenishment/new stock. During bad turnover also cross trained to help run the deli dept.
O.C.C. Bookstore: Began as a general cashier/assisted students in finding their books. Eventually promoted to merchandiser, assistant to the head who ordered all goods besides books. Assisted ordering process, did all receiving in the warehouse systems. Eventually promoted to warehouse operator, helped run warehouse in all shipping, receiving, ordering, returns, heavy machinery, etc. I enjoyed working in the warehouse very much.
Student Aide: Before I decided to focus on business I was a student aide for special needs students. One-on-one aide for child with communication problems. During my time with him I was able to help him better communicate/calm any issues the faculty saw as detrimental, and he became much more comfortable in group and school environments.
