My name is Tramayne, quite unusual for a French lady, because I was born in Chicago to an American father and a French mother. I grew up mostly in France and French Guiana (South America), where my mother is from. I have always evolved in an English-speaking environment despite living away from my native country. Indeed, my mother has always tried to be the protector of my American Heritage.
Just like a mixed child, I have always been at the same time the one from abroad and from here. I grew up in a cradle of different cultures which slowly encouraged me to explore my personality as an artist.
Since my early age, when I started classical ballet, I have always been fond of the entire field linked to the arts in general and beauty altogether : make-up, hairstyle, nails, cosmetics, accessories, fashion and interior design. My expressivity is one of the main personality traits, which has led me to further explore my creativity through all of my passions. My hobbies are sports, books, photography, exhibits, concerts, movies & shopping. I also love writing, reading, drawing, modelling, travelling and capturing the priceless moments I experience.
I believe it is important to celebrate life in general, to celebrate the individuality of each and every one, and to celebrate whatever is passion, but always with authenticity, and with as much demand onto the mean and the end. This is the reason why I feel a certain emotion towards tradition, through the culture and the heritage (language, music, food, community…) but also through arts and particularly dancing.
Thorough and rigorous by nature, I do feel the need to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, in the interest of being true to the original with a deep desire to be as objective and authentic as possible.
As a ballet, neoclassical and contemporary ballet dancer, I took the initiative to create the blog Univers de la danse while studying at the prestigious Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. The blog posts are largely about dance technique and the key information useful to pursue the career of a professional artist no matter what.
