Dr. James Kisner

I earned a Master's in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology in the area of Trauma Brain Injury and diagnosis and treatment of full spectrum psychological and neuropsychology disorders. I have extensive training in the evaluation and treatment of incarcerated adolescents, adults and "at-risk" children and families. I have conducted hundreds of small groups focused on addictions, grief and loss, white collar crime victimization, couples retreats, and Men's Issues.

I have over 25 years experience as an organizational consultant, professor, seminar leader, executive coach, and family therapist. I was with Merck Pharmaceutical for ten years in sales training and development. As a consultant I have coached leadership teams at Leavenworth School District, Federal Express, American Century, C3, and Claridge Court, to name a few. For over 14 years i was a Professor of graduate studies at Fort Leavenworth where i taught military and civilian personnel studies of criminal behavior, organizational development, organizational change and leadership. I served on the Katrina Disaster response team for the American Red Cross for three weeks with critical incident debriefing helping victims come to grips with loss of possessions and family members. For the last eighteen months i focused primarily on God, Family, and writing. I am currently writing a book titled, "Free to Succeed, Free to Fail." I continue to stay challenged and wrestle with God on my spiritual journey. I consider myself "A Seed Planter" that usually produces a bountiful harvest. My passion is creating movement in individuals that is goal directed and results oriented.
