In response to the growing homelessness crisis in Sacramento County, the County Board of Supervisors is considering a number of locations that would become temporary shelters for homeless individuals. The county currently does not have a single large homeless shelter, but officials have flagged a handful of properties as possible sites for shelters that would offer showers, restrooms and security in addition to medical care and other services.
