  • Have always loved to translate Fiction, Science Fiction and Non-Fiction books and I have started by writing some stories and poems myself. One story, the Tea Ritual got a national award at the National Science Fiction Convention. I continued translating some of my poems and stories for my personal pleasure and later on I started translating a Science Fiction book, "the Listeners" by Prof.essor James Gunn (published in a Romanian Science Fiction Magazine). From 2006 onwards I have started translating books more regularly for two major Romanian publishing houses (Humanitas and RAO) and for other (foreign) clients from English into Romanian. I have also translated a collection of political articles from Romanian into English which were later published as a book.
  • I am a Certified Technical and Legal Translator and have used my skills and expertise to build up an experience covering more than 30 years: technical translations of various fields (Automotive, Oil&Gas Drilling Rigs, mining Equipment, Pumps, Energy, Ecology, Glass Industry, Surveying, Loaders, Oil Pipelines), legal translations (Contracts, Public Contracts, Legislative documents, Certificates, Diplomas and other various legal documents including Consular documents), Thesis Papers, CVs, Presentations, Banking translations, HR translations, website text string translation and many more: please feel free to contact me for an updated copy of my CV.
  • I have started edting texts during my university years and have always liked to proofread, copy-edit and generally review and even rewrite or retranslate a text.
  • I am also offering my Terminological Research expertise.
