Travelabella

My main professional background & career is over 13 years in the Retail Leisure, Travel and Tourism Industry booking flights; hotel/hostel only, cruise, ski, tours, UK/city breaks, package holidays, tailor-made - luxury, bespoke, niche itineraries & an extensive range of ancillary products - offering my personal service with a touch of warmth and a smile. I am passionate about sustainable development in tourism & what I do to earn a living.

First hand experience was in the Business Travel Sector aged 16 where I learnt the Global Distribution System Sabre & went onto learn and use CRS Galileo.

Selling is one of my main strengths. I will never forget the day my former manager told me how much revenue I contributed and what it meant to the company. It taught me to get more analytical with the figures and interested in how a business works. That's when I knew to remain humble - but never dumb down for anyone, if you are great at something - show it. Now utilising experience to build my own Travel business with an reputable independent Travel company, while exploring all avenues for my start up The Natural Fabric Company Ltd.

Travelling since 1987.

Mother to my equally strong-willed 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son.

I've attempted to blog about Travel and other interests various times. Finally come to the conclusion that it's just not me. I am not dedicated enough to keep it up. It's all or nothing.

I am in love with Roots Reggae, Reading, Greek Mythology, Tennis, Swimming, and in the process of learning Sign Language. As a well-being and beauty enthusiast, I never say no to a pampering session or spa invite. Anything which encourages inner peace and tranquility is a yes.

Life has not been without it's obstacles and I've had a few set backs here and there, but ain't most people?! The key is to take a step back, breathe, gain perspective and try to keep it moving.

I won't be tweeting on Twitter too much due to investing my time putting priorities in order and, that's not to say that avid tweeters don't. I have a love/hate relationship with Social Media - full stop

Each to their own and all that jazz.

One thing I have learnt about having digital presence: remain authentic and true to who you are.

Lots of love - aspire to inspire.

Chantelle.
