Travis Clarke

TravisClarke, born and raised in the sunny island of Nassau (Bahamas), has beensurrounded by music and a family that encouraged his musical skills andendeavors since the tender age of 4.

At age 6,Travis Clarke began to perform around the island of Nassau, entertaining notonly the Governor General of the Bahamas, but also performing for the PrimeMinister of the Bahamas Perry Christie. During his scholar years, Travis Clarkewon various awards showcasing his vocal styling and sound. He achieved thehonor of being the seven time consecutive winner for the National Arts Festivalin the Bahamas in two separate categories; Best Male Pop Vocal and Best MaleGospel Vocal ( making him a 14 time winner from 1997-2004).

In 2004, theaspiring artist auditioned for the Grammy award winning group Bahama-Men at age17. Too young, and not yet a high school graduate, the opportunity was missed.However, not ruffled by the setback, Travis kept his dreams alive anddiscovered his gift of songwriting.

Early 2009,Travis Clarke entered and won the first Bahamian Idol, beating out many for thetitle. Later that year, Travis was offered a recording contract by the “King ofPop’s” father himself, Joe Jackson during his stay in Nassau for the “We Are the World All Nations Talent Tour” for his developing label: Mar-AnceRecords.
