I started out performing in the industry when I was 12 years old playing the bass guitar. For the next 10 years I was in several different bands touring and handling all of the business end of every band I was in. This allowed me to gain knowledge of tour managing, promotion and marketing tactics, purchasing, retail & inventory, and networking. I also read whatever industry books I could in order to gain somewhat of a grasp managing my own band with very little knowledge. I than decided I would leave the performance side of the industry and use the skills I had acquired to start a management firm in which I managed Obadiah Parker (who's cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya" became an internet phenomenon with almost 4 million Youtube views) and Comfort for Change. While in management I was introduced to my current partner's who had started Sundawg Records in 2007. I watched as they developed their label for about a year and a half and in January of 2009 I was offered the opportunity to become a partner in Sundawg Records. I am now responsible for business development of the label and artist. With my experience I have a lot of different skills that will allow me to be successful in any position in the industry. If I don't have the skill I will strive to learn and be the best I can be.
