I am just plain ole' me-- excited about turning 40 this year-- (2013) & even more excited about all that God has allowed me to accomplish over the years.
I am a Christian foremost. I am a wife and have been since 1998. I am a mommy with one great step-son who is in College and two boys 12 & 15.
I built the brand COUPON MAMA back in 2008 after being a part of the GREAT FALL OF REAL ESTATE in 2007 and having to overcome a SERIOUS addiction to Facebook. I took a hiatus from Facebook for Lent 2008 and got into HIS BOOK (Bible) and God spoke right to me about this as an opportunity to teach people. It all sounded crazy to me, but most of the stuff that God tells us to do -- doesn't line up with what we SEE-- that is is why we have FAITH. Because my thought process was simple-- even though I have been clipping since I was married, I knew that clipping wasn't really a black girls sport and it would take GOD himself to break down the barriers-- He did just that--and voila COUPON MAMA was birthed. This enabled me to be able to be home with my boys all the way through elementary school while at the same time being able to juggle being wife, mommy, home maker and entrepreneur. -- Don't get it TWISTED it wasn't easy, BUT GOD--
The brand was built solely to teach families to save money with coupons-- but at the same time it was based solely on BIBLE PRINCIPLES. Over the years I have taught over 5000 people how to Shop, Save & Share and it was a BALL!! I loved every minute of it. Our story has been featured in Family Circle, Dave Ramsey’s' monthly newsletter, several blogs, radio programs and many others!!! God has been so good!!! During those 5 years COUPONING became a sport to many and unfortunately the EXTREME couponers were born. That was never anything that I taught nor will I ever condone. I CONDONED shopping, saving and sharing. NEVER HOARDING-- and that is all I will say on that subject!

In 2012 I was blessed with the opportunity to come on board to work for Agape Senior- the premier healthcare provider for seniors in South Carolina. This career has enabled me to educate others about Medicare, assisted living, hospice, living wills, final wishes, Medicaid, hospice & so much more!
