Travis Houze

Travis Houze is a photographer located in Washington DC. Houze first became interested in photography by studying photographs that his mother Sonja Houze took while she was younger. In 2006, Houze began shooting for his school yearbook as well as local musicians. Houze's work has been featured for book publication of Kameisha Jerae Hodge's Atlas of Conciousness (2010).

Houze's images focus on the compositions tone and texture within the photograph. Houze wants to evoke many different thoughts and views from his viewers through his images, and create scene's culturally relevant into today's society.
