I am the District's Innovative Programs Director. I am constantly pushing the newest tools to support creativity and innovation in our classrooms. I am passionate about makerspaces, personalized learning, and helping teachers become connected educators. In 2016 I was South Dakota's Technology Leader. I am also an ambassador for seesaw, flipgrid, and squirrels. I have helped host over 8 edcamps in our state in the past three years. I travel and work with districts all over the midwest on making school wide changes.

I earned my B.A. Elementary Education and Master in Leadership at University of Sioux Falls where my research focused on personalized learning models for Elementary and Middle Schools. I believe we must change the factory style learning system and empower our students to take a hold of their learning.
