Travis Newkumet

An accomplished executive in the oil and gas industry, Travis Newkumet brings nearly a decade of experience to his role leading two energy companies in the Odessa-Midland, Texas, area. As a managing member and the CEO of Regions Energy LLC, he leads development and transaction negotiations for an organization with substantial asset holdings in the Permian Basin. Since 2018, Travis Newkumet has also led Regions Permian, LLC, which retains leasehold positions throughout the Permian Basin. Under his direction, Regions Permian has obtained more than $500 million in investment capital.

The recipient of a L. Frank Pitts President’s Scholarship from Southern Methodist University, Travis Newkumet secured his BBA in corporate finance and international economics. Before establishing his own energy companies, he served as the manager of land and business development for NEI, Inc., in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex and a curative landman for Dale Property Services, LLC.

In addition to his leadership roles with Regions Energy and Regions Permian, Travis Newkumet is active in the larger oil and gas industry. Among other professional groups, he belongs to the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association, Young Professionals in Energy, and the ADAM-Permian Energy Network.
