Treisha Williams
Teacher, Mother, and Writer in Jamaica
Born and raised in Montego Bay Jamaica, Treisha Williams began her passion for singing in the church, where she served on choirs, praise and worship and as a soloist.
In 2003 she began her career as a teacher and started working with children in the area of dance and drama. She has a passions for creativity and hence worked with children on winning numerous national awards including best writer.
Her passion for writing continues as she continues working with children at her school. She entered her writing pieces in the national festival of the arts on attracted a silver award.
She began performing at numerous gigs in her parish and was often told that she had a a powerful voice and should consider publishing her songs and music.
In January 2020 she entered the Jamaica gospel song competition and walked away as winner with her hard hitting song, One Dose of the HolyGhost.
