My top five strengths are competition, significance, communication, achiever and activator. My top strength is competition for good reason. Being competitive allows me to compare myself to others and make improvements to myself accordingly. With it, I can not only build upon myself, but also take things that I learn from others when I compare myself. I hate to lose, which makes me strive for the best in myself, no matter what I do. This is easily my most easy to identify strength probably because I have been taught to be competitive my entire life. Academically, I constantly compare myself to my peers. I try to always make sure I am doing as good or better than my peers. Personally, my competition is clear in anything I do, whether it is a pickup game of basketball or a videogame, I play to win, which I think is a good, fun habit to have.

I would love to be the PT for a professional basketball team. Being able to help recover the best athletes in the world would be am unreal experience. I would need my bachelor's degree and then go to PT school for another three years to be a PT as well as several years of experience before getting a great opportunity with the a professional team. Honestly though after a while with a team and all the traveling I would want to return to my hometown to get a PT job there. Getting to help familiar faces would be great. I also want to be a high school basketball coach for my hometown. So in a perfect world, I hope to be a hometown PT with professional experience who also is a high school coach on the side.

I recently took a wellness reflection which analyzed how “well” I am in several aspects. My highest scores were social, spiritual, emotional and career. I love my friends to death from both my hometown and OSU. I really do believe that being a PT is what I am going to love to do. Every time I am around physical therapy, it makes me want to be a PT even more I do spend a lot of time in self-reflection and finding my purpose, which can be very fun and interesting as well as extremely scary. I consider myself to be very active. I lift weights every day during the week and then run a mile on the treadmill as well as other cardio things. I also try to play basketball at least three hours a week. I admit my emotions get the best of me whether I do something I regret, or yes, even cry during movies. I am comfortable and like with who I am, which I think is very important.
