I am a senior at Temple University studying sports and recreation management while also currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry. What I am most passionate about is helping others and making an impact on others’ lives. I am the most passionate about helping others because of my upbringing. I was born In Washington D.C in a poverty ridden neighborhood and often growing up I seen many people give up on their futures some even being m friends at a very young age. This motivated me at a young age to help inspire youth in low-income communities and using sports as a resource to do that. I recently decided that I would like to make a larger impact on people’s lives so I decided to take my career paths down the spiritual route to not just help peoples physical needs but their spiritual needs.

I am currently interning for the church I attend which is the Philadelphia International Christian Church and my role currently is training to become a campus minister by leading all the sporting event that the organization host and helping college students spiritually through Bible studies. This training from this internship allows me to grow in my aspirations of helping people one day leading a church of my own to help more people and connecting sports into that church to help people.
