Trevor Hawkins

Born and bred in the beautiful town of Bournemouth. Spent 17 years of growing and digesting in this wonderful Town. Then at 17 and a half, joined the British Army, and was whisked away to Woolwich for basic training, then up to Leconfield for driver training.

What a difference a day makes Oo . . . passed out of Basic training on the 22 December 1977, done my driver training till Easter 1978, then shuffled across to West Germany for the next 11 years. During this time, I met my beautiful German wife, who issued me with two beautiful babys, Tammy and Romy. Alas, things don't always go according to Army regs, and we divorced sometime in the 1990's

However . . . I benefited so much from the marriage with my wife, I now had two girls, who have , and still do make me proud! :D They are the proudest achievments of my life, and for that, I am glad.

Then . . . somewhen around 2002 . . I was living happily in Germany, my youngest brother turned up and made me question why I was still living in the "Vaterland" For that, although I loved every minute of it, I must thank him, as I had some issues that needed sorting out with my own family.

I had split with my Mum on bad terms during one leave, and we was not on speaking terms with her. This . . . . I had to sort out. Without going into details, we sorted it, and the love that I had for her was rekindled ( it never went, but dont let her know that ):D

I was made to feel like an olympic star on returning home, my Bro, Andy had the flags and the bunting flying, all the family was there, and it was an emotional time.

To cut a long story short, as I guess you are all getting a bit bored now, I came back home to "Mum and Dad", stayed with them since . . . after a while, mum passed away, and I am now caring for my disabled Dad.

I have renewed my 'lost' relationship with Brothers, Sister, Nieces and Nephews, and do not regret a day of it . . I just wish my Daughters lived closer. :/

Tammy . . Romy . . . Andrew, Julie, Tracey, Don, Kevin, Daniel, Jack, Madison, Beckham, Jamie,Shane and Amy . . . I love you.

I also "re met" a very special person that I knew during my Army days, and she has become . . . my best friend, mate, buddy . . all in one, and she remains for ever . . . a special case.

All in all, I lead a happy life and we (army buddies) meet up once a year and have a blast, so it cant be all that bad hey?
