Trevion maze

Trevion Jamell Maze (born December 5, 2002) is an American competitor known for participating in Beast Games in 2024. He is from Metairie, Louisiana.

Early life

Maze was raised by his mother, Karinsta Maze, and grandmother, Catherine Gosey, alongside his three siblings. His father was not part of his upbringing. In 2008, Maze's aunt, Keona Maze, died in a car accident in Houston, Texas — an event that deeply affected him and his family. His grandmother, Catherine Gosey, was involved in a widely reported incident in 2018 where she was criticized for not assisting a Houston police officer during an arrest.

Education

Maze attended Hall Success Academy in Aldine Independent School District, graduating after initially dropping out of high school in 2021. He then enrolled at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, where he pursued an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science.

Career

In early July 2024, Maze competed in Beast Games, a competitive gaming and physical challenge series filmed in Las Vegas and produced by MrBeast. The event took place at Allegiant Stadium, with production spending $1.6 million in Nevada.

During the competition, Maze faced physical and mental challenges, including difficulties with nutrition and hydration. He also raised concerns about the availability of medical supplies and treatment for contestants during the event. Maze has publicly discussed the challenges contestants faced during the competition, including issues related to team assignment and adherence to rules.
