Trevor Finnerty

My name is Trevor Finnerty and have recently been taken on by Peugeot car in the Nuneaton branch. This will enable me to use my skills communicating with the public. It is high profile to the customer as you are the first face they see and first contact point. Customer feedback goal is for the customer to say that Trevor Finnerty was polite, pleasant and very helpful and it was a pleasant experience.

Most of my career has been with the ambulance service with many exciting times helping people in their time of crisis but after 34 years of shift work it was time to release myself into a new part time venture with Peugeot and enjoy the extra time now available through part time work enjoying my hobbies and spending more time with my wife

This progresses me onto my love of electric cars and all the technology that goes with it such as battery technology, charging, range concerns, weight, charging infrastructure and cost to buy service and running costs. Also, it’s important that the electricity comes from renewable such as wind, solar and other green alternatives or the green benefits of electric cars will be lost. At this stage Tesla seems to be the lead in technology but as more mainstream car companies release their cars the gap will close to the benefit of all.

We love to travel and have visited many countries including China. We visit China bi annually alternating with a cruise. Recently we visited the United Emirates while cruising and was amazed by the technology.

I am a life member of the National Trust and this membership is used on a regular basis as we tour the country visiting many National Trust properties and gardens. Some of the estates are very large so that means that we can also do our other love of walking
