Trevor Katende
Harvard University and Stanford Law School graduate Trevor Katende is an attorney working for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates in Palo Alto, California. Before completing law school, Trevor Katende served as a Summer Associate at Skadden in 2005. The firm hired Mr. Katende as a full-time Corporate Associate in October 2006, and he launched his professional career working on a wide variety of corporate initiatives for Skadden’s considerable clientele. In the five years since he became an attorney, he has worked as the lead associate on numerous corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions deals. In representing clients, Mr. Katende negotiates and drafts contracts and agreements, provides financing advice, and offers legal opinions on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rules and regulations. He also acts as secretary at meetings of client stockholders, boards of directors, and special matters.
