My passion is blending science with business in order to improve the world around me. I am particularly interested in small-molecule pharmaceuticals, which I have gained exposure to while working for Northstar Biosciences. I am competing in the UMass Innovation Challenge in 2014 and 2015, pitching a novel drug delivery technology that I have helped develop in my time at Northstar. One day, I hope to see this technology evolve from a delivery component into a standalone active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). I would also like to one day work in the pharmaceutical industry in either a marketing or management-related role.
