Trey Albers

Trey is a New York-based writer, award-winning Heartbeat Ideas Creative Director and confessed gadgeteer.

As an advertising creative he believes that shared narratives are the glue that connects people to brands. As a devout futurist he believes that emerging technologies and social platforms have the potential to add richness and value to these relationships. His consuming interest in genetics, neuroscience, and biotech — inspired largely by his son's obscure condition — informs much of his work in the pharma space.

Trey's other interests include fiction with a historical, supernatural, or sci-fi bent, history, evolutionary psychology and anthropology, and collecting Roman Imperial coins and early Stephen King first editions.

An Air Force brat, Trey enjoyed a peripatetic upbringing with a wide range of cultural influences. It is perhaps no surprise that he gravitated to the tumultuous polyglot of New York City where he lives with his wife Lucy, and raised two kids, now in college.
