In math there is one special type of triangle. It is called a 30 60 90 triangle, but it also comes by a name of special right triangle. This triangle has interior angles measuring 30 degrees, 60 degrees, and 90 degrees.

This triangle is special cause its sides are in a ratio that is easy to remember: 1√(3/2). This means that the hypotenuse is twice as long as the shorter leg. The longer leg is the square root of three times the shorter leg.
