Tanya Riches
Sydney, Australia.
Tanya Riches is a worship leader and PhD student. Her congregational song 'Jesus What a Beautiful Name', released through Hillsong Publishing hit the top #10 CCLI charts when she was aged sixteen. Since then, she has continued to champion community-building in the context of faith. Her 2012 album 'Grace' is available on itunes, a collaboration of evangelical songwriters across Sydney, written out of her experiences of listening to the lives of with families with disability.
At the moment, Tanya is completing her PhD through Fuller Theological Seminary in Los Angeles. Her current project aims to illuminate the voices of urban indigenous Christian leaders in Australia - their concerns, struggles and depth of spirituality.
She is married to the very amazing Tim Sheerman and loves a great cup of coffee.
