Tricia O'Reilly

Tricia O'Reilly is a visual artist and writer living in Flagstaff, Arizona with her musician husband, J.D., and three Basenjis, Zelda, Amos, and Prints.

When viewing my artwork you may discover new things, like finding hidden objects in clouds sculpted by wind. I express my emotions through movement and placement of paint, ink, and inspirational found objects. Playfully painting with gouache and acrylic, I always mix my own colors from primary hues along with tints, shades, and tones. I explore nature’s harmony and strife by creating images that that are whimsical and serious, both graphic and abstract. While some pieces are free flowing and others have lines that are precise, my focus is always on color and design.
