TriCity Medical Center Oceanside

Tri-City Medical Center is a full-service healthcare center, located in the city of Oceanside. The Center has a hospital, outpatient facilities, a wellness center, and many specialty units.

While the Tri-City Medical Center offers a wide range of services to meet the various medical needs of clients, it specializes in six areas: heart care, orthopaedics, robotic surgery, emergency services, women's care, and cancer. The medical center has more than 500 of the country's best physicians.

Since it began serving the community more than 50 years ago, Tri-City Medical Center has been awarded many honors and achievements. The Joint Commission, the organization that oversees standards for healthcare quality and safety, gave the center two gold medals, one for overall performance in areas such as patient rights, medication management, and infection control, and the other for its outstanding primary stroke care center. The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation recognized the center for its pulmonary rehabilitation center, and the College of American Pathology judged the center's clinical laboratory to be of the highest quality. The health center was also the first hospital in San Diego County to receive accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The Tri-City Medical Center was also recently awarded a three-year re-accreditation for its cancer services from the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.

Larry Anderson, Tri-City Medical Center's CEO, has overseen many of these recognitions and accreditations and will continue to push the hospital toward even higher standards and success rates in the future.
