Trina Nichelle Moore
Trina Nichelle Moore currently serves as the Director of Ministries and Community Outreach at United Christian Fellowship Church International (UCFCI), Salisbury, North Carolina, under the leadership of Pastor Sonya T. Ellerbe. Her education accolades include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina, and a Master degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Her other responsibilities include music ministry, Christian education, and the development of new ministry opportunities discovered both in the church and community. Trina has eleven years of teaching experience as a choral music teacher in Rowan-Salisbury Schools and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. As choral director at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School (MLK) in Charlotte, North Carolina, she composed the song titled “Purpose.” This inspirational song became MLK’s official school song in the spring of 2011. Along with local radio support and internet radio airplay, the single was heard in the United States and thirty-seven international countries. Further support was garnered on local TV-WCNC Channel 36 with a feature on the evening news and a performance on the morning talk show “Charlotte Today.” The school song continues to be played every school day.
As Minister of Christian Education, Trina trains those called to the equipping office of the teaching ministry. She also develops curriculum to address the specific spiritual needs of UCFCI. Trina’s first book to be published, Transformation, is a study guide explaining in detail the foundational principles of Christianity such as salvation, maintaining salvation, and repentance. It is a must read for new Christians, recommitted Christians, and seasoned Christians. United Christian Fellowship Church International (www.ucfci.org) has adopted Transformation as the official curriculum for its Christian Living classes (for new and recommitted Christians). It will be released in the fall of 2015 by Degel Publishing, which Trina owns independently.
The biblical principle found in Matthew 22:37 (NKJV) serves as the motivating foundation for Trina in life and ministry: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This biblical command birthed Trina’s purpose for ministry. That purpose is to give God all the glory, unite and reunite souls with Christ, and encourage the body of Christ. T
