The Trinity

Three women who joined poetic forces:

• Lady Mariposa: Academic Chola
• La Erika: Mamma Poeta ex Puta
• Lauren out Loud: Post Chicana

We have been reading/writing poems together since 2008. Since then we have attended numerous conferences, symposia, and held many readings locally.

We are honored to have been featured readers alongside such great latino authors as Tato Laviera, Lucha Corpi, alurista, Norma Cantu, Diana Garcia, and Amalia Ortiz.

Lady Mariposa, Lauren, and Erika have also been published in several different journals and anthologies including Floricanto, La Bloga, and The Acentos Review.

We have performed together for various audiences as well as conducted workshops and are always looking for new ways to collaborate.
