Trinity G. Abeng Allsop
Student, humanitarian, and community leader in Maryland
Trinity G. Abeng Allsop is an award-winning purpose driven humanitarian, young community leader, volunteer, and high achieving college student. Her interests range from entrepreneurship to innovation. she's also interested in volunteering, humanitarian causes, mental health awareness and education.
At just 19 years old she was awarded the 2023 President Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding community service by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. This award recognizes the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
All through Middle and High School, Trinity was a Senior Team Leader as an intern for Miss Africa USA Internship Program. The internship serves black middle and high schools scholars enrolled in various academic institutions in the Washington Metropolitan area. Its core values are strongly rooted in academic excellence, community service, transformational leadership and sisterhood. Black girls admitted into this internship must succeed academically by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0, exemplify transformational leadership traits and demonstrate continuous service to the African immigrants’ community in the United States. Under her young leadership, interns received several awards from the embassies of Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire and Guinee Conakry. She was always instrumental in assisting our teams during attendance to the yearly Coronation Night at different African countries pageants in the USA. For more than 2 years, she was in charge of helping the leadership team with logistics during the internship yearly participation to the Global Engagement Summit at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and the Maryland Chapter of the Susan G. Komen race for a Cure against breast cancer.
