Jack of all trades. Not an insult, but an aspiration.

I can't imagine focusing on one thing. To varying degrees and at varying skill levels, I do: Perl, C++, web design, graphic design, game development, writing, photography, cooking, and anything else that feels like it might be interesting.

I'm not great at any of it. But I'm better than average at a lot of it. And that's much more interesting to me than spending a lifetime chasing excellence in a narrow field.
