Dream, dream, dream.
I tell my daughter that every time I see her. That wonderful line is from a poem by an Italian poet called Eugenio Montale that I came to love thanks to the late great Nuala O'Faoláin. The poem is called 'The Prisoner's Dream'.
I work with wine and food for a living - what a job, eh? But let me tell you how wonderful a pint, a bowl of mussels and a slice of brown bread is after a month on the road in white table cloth restaurants in America. Nothing to touch it.
