Hi my name is Trisha St. Louis and I was born on May 6, 1989 in Boston, Massachusetts at Boston Children’s Hospital. I was born into a family home with two older sister’s name Jennifer and Wendy. Jennifer was the oldest and Wendy was the middle child which leaves me last. I and Wendy were the closest since we were a year apart so we had a lot in common and enjoyed each other company. While Jennifer who was six years older than me was into her own stuff but when we’re all together we have so much fun. I was more of the quite little girl who kept to herself and was hard to find friends because I was shy. Growing up as a child in a Spanish neighborhood was great and sometimes bad. The great part about it was that I knew how to speak Spanish but not so much now but anyways I had the best childhood friends. They would come over our house everyday even on special occasions like birthdays. We did crazy things and even made a real fire with a lighter, played so many games which hide and go seek was our favorite, and played baseball. My parents would throw big fiestas and everyone in our neighborhood was invited. What made it not so good growing up in a Spanish neighborhood is when you do something bad and got a whooping for it everyone knew you got in trouble plus a whooping. Then you’ll get the lecture talk from your neighbors. Also as growing up I begin to get into sports because my dad would use to go play soccer every Saturday with his brother and friends and me and Wendy would go with him just to watch and kick the ball to each other. As I got into middle school I tried out for basketball and made it to the team. For me playing sports was my way to make new friends. The reason for that was that I got comfortable knowing my teammates.
Then from there went to West Roxbury High School and there too I played basketball and also soccer. Attending this school was a different experience because everyone knew me before I knew them because my sister Wendy goes there. So making friends was pretty easy but I still kept to myself because my mom would always tell me to “never trust friends” so since I’m not the type of person who gets in trouble or want to get in trouble I just kept my distance. After my freshmen years my parents moved us to Brockton, Massachusetts. My sisters and I were not happy at all because all our life memories were being left behind and new memories had to be made but also we didn’t even know where Brockton was and what to expect.
