Tristan Reid is a writer, actor and comedian currently working on a collection of comedic personal essays entitled “Bruxism and Pepper Spray,” chronicling his work for a medical marijuana dispensary in San Francisco. He relocated from San Francisco in 2013 and began work on the book, performing essays from it utilizing platforms such as The Moth, stand-up comedy, and monologues performed at the "10 Minute Play Festival". He is a Pittsburgh Moth StorySLAM winner (at the Rex Theater) and GrandSLAM performer (at the New Hazlett Theater). He also is the co-creator, co-writer and star of a drag sketch comedy show “The Nomi Darling Show”, with Alistair McQueen, and the upcoming "Open Mike," with John Dick Winters.
