Marcelo Trojahn

Marcelo Trojahn is a Senior IT consultant with a wide background of successful deliveries in strategic solutions designed to reduce costs, increase productivity, competitive advantage and short-term results, aligned with the business vision. Backed by more than 15 years’ experience in IT and an extensive technical and business knowledge, he has occupied leadership positions of Project and Teams with a strong performance in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

In his current position at YARA International as SharePoint Specialist, he had the opportunity to be part of a global team of experts, reporting directly to the manager in Belgium. Acting as responsible for application/governance in Latin America, ensures that solutions are aligned with the business, with industry standards and global governance patterns.

As leader he has always adopted a careful approach when leading different Teams or Projects. Currently, he is the leader of innovation projects, promoting practices and tools such as Design Thinking and Agile Methods. At Gerdau Long Steel, he has had the chance to work as a leader of different teams, such as IBM, Microsoft and other suppliers. In addition, he was responsible for the management of big Projects involving Project Server 2010 and SharePoint 2013, which further demonstrates his dedication to understand all processes involving IT.
