Troy Snyder
WEATHERFORD, TEXAS
Troy Snyder’s career in education began in 2003 as a Social Studies and AVID teacher in Fort Worth, Texas. Shortly afterward he was accepted in to Texas Christian University’s Master of Business Administration and Doctorate in Education Leadership dual degree program which he completed in 2009. Since then, Troy Snyder has worked for inner city minority-majority schools, rural and suburban campuses, as well as public and private schools. Troy enjoys working with fellow faculty members in helping students get the best education available.
Troy Snyder ’s philosophy on education is the foundation of his work ethic and dedication to maximizing his students’ potential. Troy has traveled a lot in his life times to countries in South America and South- East Asia, and he tries to bring his life experiences to his classroom and teachings. Troy is a big believer that traveling helps people grow in ways that is different from a formal education. Meeting different people with backgrounds different from yours, gives people a new perspective on life and current events. Troy was born in Wyoming and raised overseas, including Colombia and Indonesia, and remote areas in the Amazon and Borneo rain forests. He plans to publish a book detailing his travels about living in the rain forest, his memorable encounters and share general backpacking advice.
