Troy is a skilled and bilingual strategic communicator with deep experience in strategy development, media relations, and crisis management. Troy is currently the Senior Director for PRSA-NY’s Big Apple Awards, one of the oldest and most prestigious award programs in the public relations industry. Most recently, he was a Senior Publicist where he provided strategic counsel to numerous social impact and philanthropy clients.

Prior experience include working on public engagement for the Obama White House, U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, New York City Council, National Puerto Rican Education Fund, Congressional campaign, and Ricky Martin Foundation. He is a member of many leading professional associations and serves on the board for three organizations.

Honorable accomplishments:
• Recognized by WABC-Disney Television Group as trailblazer for Hispanic Heritage Month
• The Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council awarded me with the 'Ann Marie Brown Memorial Award for communications'
• Spoke on Harlem Tech Summit panel with former NYC Chief Technology Officer, Minerva Tantoco
