Troy Biddix

As a Lead Tax Partner at Deloitte, Troy Biddix is responsible for the overall delivery of tax services to global clients. Troy works in the firm’s Detroit office. He began working at Deloitte more than 20 years ago, earning a promotion to Tax Partner after 9 1/2 years with the company. Deloitte is a major international audit, tax and consulting firm.

Troy Biddix earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University before joining Deloitte. Several years into his career, Troy Biddix enrolled in Walsh College and completed a Master of Science in Taxation in 1994. He holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of CPAs (MACPA).

In addition to his work as a Lead Tax Partner at Deloitte, Troy Biddix serves or has served in various volunteer roles including: Treasurer, Japanese Business Society of Detroit Foundation, an organization whose mission is to establish and enhance understanding and mutual cooperation between Japanese and American businesses and communities. The JBSD provides its 282 members with a forum for the open exchange of ideas, information and resources; various religious and educational organizations, including Treasurer & Financial Secretary of St. Matthew Lutheran Church & School, Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church & School, and Spelling Bee Master for Cornerstone Christian School.

He also supports the local community by volunteering or supporting Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and The Salvation Army, St. Baldricks and the ArtCenter. An outdoor enthusiast, Troy Biddix enjoys spending time on Lake Michigan, kayaking, biking, and hiking.
