Someone once described me as someone who is "comfortable with ambiguity." Another way to say that same thing is that I see things "outside the box." It's not that there's anything wrong with seeing only the inside of the box...someone has to be there, otherwise there's no purpose for the box.
My mom always told me, "Nobody said that life's fair."
That really, really irritated me. Of course, she was right. Now I'm the one irritating my children with life's truisms. Some boxes are inescapable.
