Former NFL player, Troy Vincent Sr. was the seventh overall pick in the first round for the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 NFL Draft. He played for 15 seasons and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for the Philadelphia Eagles, the state of Pennsylvania, and the University of Wisconsin. Since 2014, Troy Vincent Sr. has served as executive vice president of football operations for the National Football League in NY. His work in NY includes upholding standards of excellence to ensure the positive impact of football on people’s lives.
In addition to overseeing operational factors such as player accountability, officiating, diversity programs, and game scheduling, Mr. Vincent Sr. actively advocates for victims of domestic violence. The founder of the Leadership Over Violence initiative, he speaks at community shelters and public events across the country to increase awareness and develop a targeted approach to end domestic violence. In recognition of his humanitarian work, Mr. Vincent Sr. received the National Jefferson Award for Public Service.
