I'm a high school technology and finance teacher. I work for a small, rural (and poor) school district about an hour northeast of Seattle. I am all about the importance of integrating technology into the archaic public education system of today. I look forward to being part of the upcoming changes in education -- teaching in new ways and new content that truly prepares students for success.

My passion for teaching wasn't always my story. I found this passion later in life after spending many years in the corporate world as a marketing coordinator and graphic designer for engineering consulting firms. It wasn't all bad in the corporate world -- I gained a strong work ethic and learned how to make things look and sound good.

I love helping young people to see their future, to prepare for college and work, to embrace technology, and convincing them that they can do and be anything. I am also addicted to coffee.
