Katherine True
Plymouth, UK
From a small village in West Sussex, I moved to Plymouth after finishing my A-Levels to study at Plymouth College of Art. Being close to the exciting scenery of Dartmoor, rugged coast of Cornwall and the historic Plymouth Hoe is what first attracted me to the South West.
I am currently studying for my BA (Hons) in Photography, I am a landscape, interior and documentary photographer. I love to get out into the fresh air, whether it is a vast open space or private garden. I am happy when working outside. That said, interior photogrphy is something I also really enjoy , particularly having completed a bedroom shoot at Olga and Alex Polizzi's Hotel Endsleigh; a building full of character and charm. Documentary photography is another area I enjoy and my most recent project has been documenting Dartmoor ponies, the issues they face and the charities that work with them.
Photography is very important to me, it's a passion that has run thoughout my family. I have always been creative and I find happiness using my strengths in this area.
If you are intersted in my work please take a look at my website where you will find a selection of different projects that I have worked on over the years.
