Tru Hoang

Tru Hoang is a full-time engineering undergraduate at Boston University. Tru is an active member of the BU Engineers Without Borders, a group whose purpose is to create essential technology by assembling household materials suitable for communities in need, and BU College of Engineering Dean's Hosts, the college representatives, acting as guides to visiting families and helping incoming freshmen understand what the college has to offer. Outside of regular curriculum, Tru does individual research to aid him in his small projects. Currently, he is working on prosthetic design powered by springs to amplify output energy.
