Tsakane Dinkwe

Student in Gauteng, Johannesburg

My name is Tsakane Dinkwe, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Education (Senior and Further Education and Training Teaching) student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Psychology and History. I am passionate about education and its transformative role in addressing societal challenges. I believe that quality education empowers individuals to identify problems within their communities and develop meaningful, sustainable solutions.

My teaching philosophy is centred on learner engagement and active participation. I believe that learners are not empty vessels but active participants in the learning process who should critically engage with knowledge rather than passively receive information. As a future educator, I am committed to creating inclusive, interactive learning environments by incorporating learner-centred teaching strategies such as Jigsaw, Stump Your Partner, debates, etc.
